Hello! I’m Yuka Fan

I’m currently pursuing a Masters in Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington. In 2023, I graduated from University of Michigan with a BA in Cognitive Science. At the intersection of human minds and technology, UX allows me to craft solutions and make meaningful impacts - this is what I love about it.

I moved around growing up. I’m Taiwanese but I was raised in Japan and China, and also lived in Canada, and now in the US. My experiences have shaped me into a global citizen with a profound appreciation for diverse cultures, a keen sense of adaptability, and a restless energy to explore the world.

I’m currently working as student UX Designer at UWIT. Outside of work, I’m a big fan of nature and art. I love hiking, Ashtanga yoga, making thangka painting, making earrings, playing music on my piano and electric guitar, and playing Zelda on switch.
